It will be one fun-filled day chock-full of Christmas spirit in the City of Fairfax on Saturday, December 1 with their Festival of Lights and Carols.
In the Old Town Hall, you can have Lunch with Santa at one of three seatings. Note tickets are required and went on sale November 1; they are available from the Parks & Recreation Department (703.385.7858) in City Hall as well as other locations around town.
From noon until 7pm, there is endless entertainment in Kitty Pozer Garden (3999 University Drive). Enjoy live holiday music, hot cider and smores by the Yule log. There will be a performance by the Pender United Methodist Bell Ringers, as well as Caroling and Bell Ringing with the Jubil-Aires.
Over at Old Town Hall, once Lunch with Santa is complete, performances by the Sidney Lanier Middle School Chorus, Strings and Band will entertain from 2:30 – 5pm while parents can take photos of their children with Santa (hint: bring your camera).
The Kitty Pozer Garden will be illuminated with animated lights from Thanksgiving weekend through 1/6/2013, starting at 5pm each evening.
